Noémie L. Côté is a Canadian and international award-winning artist whose vibrant open-impressionist landscapes breathe life into nature's scenes, leaving viewers uplifted. Her passion for nature was ignited in her African childhood, where she learned to see the world as a prism of colours, guided by one of Zimbabwe’s celebrated painters. This love for the natural world deepened with her return to Canada at 13, where the changing seasons inspired her to capture the beauty around her.
After honing her skills at Canterbury Arts High School, Noémie pursued a successful career in graphic design while continuing to explore sculpture, life drawing, and oil painting. Her work, characterized by joyful, colourful impasto strokes, reflects a celebrated 23-year exploration of various artistic forms.Now, Noémie finds peace in painting beloved national parks and provincial landscapes. Her work captures the essence of serene natural settings, showcasing the harmonious interplay of colors that define the spirit of the places she loves.
