ARTISTIC APPROACH
My current research directly embraces expressions of Neo Pop Art.
The subjects are borrowed from characters or popular themes from various universes such as cinema, video games, comics, superheroes, or art history.
The pictorial proposals are influenced by Hard-Edge painting, where geometric abstractions appear as the very foundation of the proposed subjects.
An inspiration that comes from my lifelong heroes, including Salvador Dali, René Magritte, Velasquez, Kandinsky, Picasso, Miro, Molinari, Tousignant, LeMoyne, Pierre Ayot, Kusama, Basquiat, Warhol, and Jasper Johns.
Pop culture and the current way of life directly influence a part of our social and individual realities. To try to capture them, I offer a clear and animated impulse between the forms and colors of the subjects. Social codes are an infinite source of creation and have a determining impact on my projects. This process expresses a desire to create very colorful and lively images, and above all, to celebrate color in my life.
